Our History:

GAM Enterprises originated in 1990 as an exclusive strategic partner with Jakob GmbH who is one of the leaders in servo coupling technology in Europe. Today, GAM is the exclusive North American headquarters for Jakob providing manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service support for all servo coupling products. We are known in the industry for same day delivery for custom bored couplings. Today, Jakob is a diversified manufacturer of (9) companies specializing in highly engineered mechanical components for the industrial machine market.

In 1998, GAM started GAM Gear L.L.C. with the cooperation of Jakob to introduce a unique high precision inline gear reducer to the market which combined high precision planetary gearing and integrated coupling technology for a complete system solution. In order to offer a complete line of high precision gear reducers, GAM Gear developed exclusive strategic relationships with many other vendors through out the world to become their North American Headquarters offering manufacturing, engineering, sales, service and warranty support.

Our Focus:

Our niche in the marketplace is to offer customized engineered products for the industrial market. We provide great service to our customers by offering small to medium batches, with short lead times, and at a value to the customer.

We have a culture at GAM that is truly entrepreneurial the moment you walk thru our doors or hear us on the phone. Our passion is GAM Can, Just ASK! It begins with hiring the best people who share the common philosophy of doing "whatever it takes" to insure the customer is completely satisfied. For example, you may hear of teams from the office working in shipping to "lend a helping hand" or a machinist who comes in on a Sunday for a customer who has an emergency.

We are an operationally efficient company. We employ the latest computer technologies, processes, manufacturing disciplines and measurements to insure that we remain competitive in the market place.
