GAM acquires certain assets of Schaeffler Ultra Precision Drives (SUPD)

GAM Enterprises, LLC, a leading manufacturer of high-precision gear reducers and other automation solutions, today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire certain assets of Schaeffler Ultra Precision Drives GmbH i.L. (SUPD) from Schaeffler. The transaction strengthens GAM’s position in precision motion control and expands its ability to serve global automation and robotics customers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“The acquired technology represents a highly differentiated solution for high-precision applications and is a strong fit within GAM’s broader motion control strategy,” said Craig Van den Avont, GAM CEO. “GAM intends to support customers of the PSC product line and build on this technology platform over time.”
